Readers will love this very well-done story about two people who have so much to offer but hide their hearts because of their painful pasts… Watching them fall in love is something pure and sweet. Readers will enjoy the secondary characters in this story, and if they’ve read the other three books in the series, it’ll be like visiting old friends… One can imagine these characters going on to live long and happy lives. This is the perfect ending to a lovely series.

This is a great romance and it is a great romantic suspense. This book is an emotional tribute to the power of the human spirit. The ability of the two lost souls to overcome their trauma is inspiring. A great book that means much more than one would think.

Just when we thought this author couldn’t get any better, she comes back with a gem like Strong Enough. Richards’ ability to weave issues of long-term effects of PTSD, acquaintance rape, child sexual abuse, and alcoholism into a story that features lasting family ties, enduring friendship and boundless love is enviable. This one’s a beauty—and we are better for it.
Based on a scale of 1-5, Strong Enough deserves a 7.

The story is beautiful, emotional, sad at times, with some suspense/action that I didn't expect. I love the sense of community in Masonville, and the wonderful bond that Charlotte has with her family, and that Damon has with his siblings. This was an amazing book; so glad that I had the opportunity to read it.

The flow and pacing of the story was just right and the introduction of events and circumstances was done seamlessly and I was pulled into an emotional journey reading what both Damon and Charlotte went through. Their connection and feelings for each other was palatable. Loved the conclusion… Beautifully well-written emotional story.

I love how this shows that victims don't have to continue to be victims. That the more they stand up for themselves and speak out about what happened to them the less power the criminal had over them. Yes, sometimes it takes years to get to that point, but with the right support and not hiding it from everyone anymore you can move on with your life and be truly happy again.

This is a very emotional story. The characters are realistic and it was intriguing to watch Damon and Charlotte work through their issues into a relationship. Threats come from their pasts and I appreciated the support they got from their family…The epilogue answered my lingering questions at the end of the last chapter so I was left satisfied.

Strong Enough was a wonderful read with well crafted characters. I was pulled into the challenge of saving veterans and rescue dogs. Jana Richards does a great job of weaving the lives of Damon Greyson and Charlotte Saunders together and how they overcome the obstacles from their pasts. I couldn't put it down until I turned the last page.
